Outdoor Learning

“Let Nature be your teacher.” – William Wordsworth

Our outdoor provision is something which we are incredibly proud of. We have stunning grounds situated all around our school -much of it is totally hidden from anyone not lucky enough to be in our school- it really is a hidden gem.

Connecting to nature and being outdoors is something which we prioritise, we have Forest School trained staff who lead activities alongside our team of staff who share our environmental ethos.

Our Friends of the School committee have helped us hugely with fundraising to provide extra resources outside and the whole area really is fantastic.

On our field we have space for traditional games, scooter riding on our mapped out circuit, play equipment, wildlife in abundance along with our Forest School area.

Our Royal Garden was officially opened by the late HRH Prince Philip and is an area where pupils learn not only where their food comes from but also what needs to be done to nurture and care for the produce we harvest from it. It reflects perfectly how all of pour pupils grow in confidence and knowledge as they progress and thrive through our school.
