Governing Body

Our Governors are representatives of the local community, parents, school staff and the Local Education authority. They bring a range of interests knowledge and skills to the school whilst working in a voluntary capacity.
Governors work closely with the headteacher, school staff and representatives from the local authority.
Governors are responsible for:
-
raising standards of academic achievement
-
recruitment of staff
-
representing the views of the local community
-
managing school budgets
-
promoting the values and ethos of the school.

Governors ask questions, gather information and help make decisions about the school. Our school’s Governing Body meets once every term, in the school. Sub-committees meet as and when required.
