Now Press Play
At Langley Park Primary School, now>press>play has become an invaluable tool for bringing learning to life across the curriculum. By immersing pupils in rich, audio-led adventures, it transforms lessons into interactive experiences that ignite curiosity and foster deeper understanding.
Whether children are stepping into the shoes of a character from history, exploring scientific concepts, or engaging with PSHE themes, the programme provides an exciting and inclusive entry point to each topic.

The immersive nature of now>press>play supports diverse learning styles and helps pupils make meaningful connections with the curriculum. Through movement, storytelling, and sound, children are encouraged to actively participate rather than passively observe, enhancing retention and building confidence.

Across our school, teachers use now>press>play to enrich topic launches, deepen curriculum coverage, and provide memorable experiences that strengthen cultural capital.
It aligns seamlessly with our commitment to offering a broad and engaging curriculum, ensuring every child can access learning in a way that feels fun, inclusive, and purposeful. The excitement and engagement it generates are evident in classrooms and corridors alike, making it a powerful addition to our teaching toolkit.

We have carefully mapped out the now>press>play experiences to match our curriculum in Science, History and Geography. We have also mapped out the other experiences to match other areas of learning in each year group, such as RE and PSHE. Key calendar events are also planned for e.g. Anti-Bullying Week and Online Safety Week.
