PSHE
At our school, PSHE is taught through the Jigsaw programme, a comprehensive and progressive scheme that supports children’s personal, social, emotional, and health development. Jigsaw brings together PSHE, emotional literacy, mindfulness, and social skills in a structured way, helping pupils to understand themselves, build positive relationships, and make responsible choices.
Each year group follows age-appropriate units that cover topics such as relationships, health and wellbeing, living in the wider world, and safeguarding. Jigsaw also promotes a strong sense of community and inclusion, encouraging children to celebrate diversity and develop resilience in a safe and supportive environment.

Our school provides Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) to support pupils’ health, wellbeing, and understanding of relationships. RSE is taught in an age-appropriate and inclusive way through our PSHE curriculum, helping children to learn about respect, personal safety, and healthy boundaries.
