Design Technology
At Langley Park Primary School, we have a structure and sequence of lessons to help teachers ensure they have covered the skills required to meet the aims of the National Curriculum.

Our intent is to ensure all pupils use creativity and imagination in their DT work and that they are able to design, make and evaluate products that solve problems in a variety of meaningful contexts.

Children have the opportunity to develop the creative, practical and technical expertise needed to perform everyday tasks confidently. Children will build their knowledge, understanding and skills in order to design products for a wide range of uses; in textiles, in food and nutrition and in construction.
