Our School
At Langley Park Primary School we believe that all children should be supported and encouraged to reach their full potential. We want them to enjoy learning through our broad and engaging curriculum, while developing strong our 'CARE' values.
Headteachers' Message
At Langley Park Primary School, what we do matters, but the way that we do it matters even more. We ask pupils and colleagues to take CARE in everything we do. The things that make us CARE permeate through our daily habits to ensure educational excellence for our students through elevated aspirations, creating responsible citizens who value and support their community. We are passionate about giving our students the very best opportunities to prepare them for happy and successful futures.
Governing Body
Our Governors are representatives of the local community, parents, school staff and Stanley Learning Partnership. They bring a range of interests knowledge and skills to the school whilst working in a voluntary capacity.
Governors work closely with the Headteacher, school staff and representatives from the Trust and Local Authority.
Stanley Learning Partnership
SLP is a Primary Multi-Academy Trust in the Stanley and surrounding North-West Durham area. Our community of schools currently consists of Greenland Community Primary School, South Stanley Infant & Nursery School, South Stanley Junior School, Annfield Plain Infant School, Annfield Plain Junior School, East Stanley School, Bloemfontein Primary School, Collierley Primary School, Burnhope Primary School and ourselves.
